You will receive your images in a private, password protected online gallery. You can download all the high resolution photos from the gallery, share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints. After 60 days your gallery will be archived. Please contact me if you need to gain further access to your gallery. Your gallery can be reposted for an additional $15 fee.

This is a tough question to answer. It's like asking a painter how many brush strokes will go into a finished portrait. Each package and event will produce a different number of finished images. I always choose quality over quantity. From each shoot, I will select the absolute best photos, the ones that "Nail It", and enough images to ensure that your story is told. Here's some average examples. For a wedding with 8 hours of coverage, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images. For a stage performance you can expect a similar number dependent on the hours I am booked. Headshots, portraits or dance photographs will be dependent on the number of looks that are purchased. You can expect anywhere from 8-15 professionally edited images per look, and as well as 2-4 images per look with additional advanced retouching.

My standard turnaround is to deliver photos within 10 days of the shoot. Processing time is dependent on the length of the photo shoot or size of the event. I will let you know if more time is needed prior to the shoot or event.

I am located in Pasadena, California. I am happy to travel within the greater Los Angeles area for your photo shoot or event. Locations beyond a 30 mile radius of the Pasadena area will require an additional travel fee.

It is my preference to utilize exterior locations. Location is dependent on the type of shoot you book. If a studio is preferred an additional fee is required. When discussing your project I can suggest various locations, or if you have a specific location in mind we can arrange for that.

I love being by your side to capture your wedding day. During our initial consultation we will discuss your desires and the timeline for your day to guide my schedule and to ensure your priorities are met. On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. I will scout all necessary locations prior to the event to ensure the day runs smoothly.

I often use various outdoor locations for shooting dancers using a mixture of natural light and designed lighting to capture the full body lines and movements of various performers. A studio location can be booked for an additional fee. The fee and studio location is dependent on the look that is desired for the shoot.

My base rate is for 1 day of shooting either a full dress rehearsal or one performance. For a more thorough coverage of the event it is my preference to shoot 1 dress rehearsal and 1 show. I like to shoot a dress rehearsal to give me a full view of the front of the stage, as well as the ability to move and shoot additional angles from the audience's point of view. Then, shooting a second performance where I would be getting shots from the wings. I feel getting both locations allows me to tell the story of the performance from both the audience and the dancer's perspective.

All images that I deliver will have been edited for color balance, tone, exposure and composition.

Advanced retouching includes skin smoothing, eye & teeth brightening, and blemish removal, among other adjustments. Advanced retouching is offered for $30 per photo.

All photographers are natural light photographers. When beautiful natural light is available, I use it. When it’s not, I have and use an array of strobes and lighting instruments to direct, shape and enhance light creatively.

Hitting the right position to capture the pleasing lines of dance can be a challenge for a dancer when translating movement to a photograph. To help aid the dancer in the shooting process a dance coach is available upon request. If you want assistance looking your best hair and makeup can also be available for an additional charge.
